Essex Security Gates - Automatic Security Gates

Our Automatic Gates are powered by Beninca UK who provide various different types of motors, mainly Swing Gate Operators (Above & Below Ground versions), Sliding Gate Operators (Sliding & Cantilever Gates). They are available in various sizes to suit the size/weight of your gate and duty cycle usage to suit your traffic requirements.

Our Automatic Gates can be activated from various methods from simple Push Button Stations and Key- switches, through to Remote Control Key-Fobs, Card Readers, Proximity Reader Fobs, Inductive Loops (Vehicle Detection), Hard-wired Audio/Visual Intercom Systems and even a system whereby your Gate can be controlled from anywhere in the world such as GSM Intercom Systems via your mobile phone (providing you have a mobile signal) or Wi-Fi Router Intercom System via a PC/Tablet (providing you have internet connection). The control system would normally be determined by the client’s requirements, convenience, frequency of use, level of security and budget.

Safety of our Gates

Our Safety Systems are provided by ASO Safety Solutions and would usually consist of Photocell/s, Inductive Loops and/or Optical/Resistive contact Safety Edges. In some cases there would be several or a combination of these devices fitted to one Gate depending on which type of Gate/s, the location, the environment, users and passers-by etc.

Security of our Gates

Some level of Security is achieved through the electric operators themselves however if you are particularly concerned we would usually recommend fitting of one (or more) 500kg Electro-Magnetic Lock which is engaged/disengaged automatically by the Control Panel. In the case of a Double-Leaf Swing Gate we would also advise the fitting of an Automatic Drop-Bolt (especially boarded Gates).

Repair, Refurbishment & Upgrade of Existing Gates

Our experienced Engineers can often carry out an effective Repair of an existing Gate whether it be structural, mechanical, electrical or aesthetically pleasing. Using the equipment detailed, we are also able to Automate an existing Gate/s which are currently manual or even Upgrade existing Automatic Gates with a Safety System in line with current regulations.
